Declaration: I Am Being Transformed By Grace
– I put off the old man, and put on the new man
Speak This Declaration Boldly Out Loud:
Lord, I am being transformed by the amazing grace of God.
I am choosing to put off the old man—my sinful nature, my past mistakes, and my former ways—and I bury him in the grave with Jesus.
Through His death and resurrection, I am being raised into new life, empowered by God’s grace.
I hereby put on the new man, created in the image of God, renewed in righteousness, holiness, and the
knowledge of His will.
By the Spirit, I am transformed from the inside out, growing in love, faith, and obedience.
I no longer live for myself, but for Christ who gave His life for me.
Each day, I walk in the newness of life, reflecting His character and glory in all I do. I Speak this in Jesus’ name.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Key Points
- The self-centered nature we are born with cannot be repaired or improved; it must be crucified and put to death.
- Salvation is a supernatural rebirth in which a new identity is created — the “new man” formed after Christ.
- The old patterns of thinking, desiring, and reacting do not disappear automatically; they must be intentionally put off.
- Renewal occurs as truth replaces former lies and the mind aligns with God’s Word.
- Putting on the new man means choosing Christlike character — humility, obedience, love, and submission to God’s will.
- Transformation is not self-effort; it is grace empowering cooperation with the Holy Spirit.
- As this process continues, Christ’s life becomes evident through righteous fruit and love for others.
