Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me; You loved me so much you died for me (John 3:16). I believe in your death and resurrection and I accept you as my lord and savior (Romans 10:9). I am a believer and therefore a member of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). May all the members come together as one body in these challenging times (1 Corinthians 12:20-26).
Lord, I am a sinner, I have missed the mark. I turn from sin and commit to live a righteous life through you (Romans 3:10). Lord, help me subdue any self-centered earthly desires and stay focused on you and your kingdom (1 Peter 2:11).
By your sacrifice as an innocent lamb, you paid the price for my sins. By your grace you forgive me and I am saved (Ephesians 1:7). You redeem me, you reunite me to the father, and present me as righteous; not by anything that I have done to deserve it, but by your love and grace. I humbly accept your love and your generous gift. As you love me and forgive me, I love others and forgive all who have sinned against me (Matthew 6:14-15).
With your resurrection. you defeated the devil and took full authority in heaven and on earth. You are the name above all names (Philippians 2:9), so I will recognize your authority. You have delegated authority on earth to us as believers (Matthew 28:18-19). You tell us to use your name to release your power on this earth, so I will use it (John14:14). You tell us the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, so I will stand in your righteousness and be bold (James 5:16). You tell us Death and Life are in the power of the tongue, so I will speak this out loud (Proverbs 18:21). You tell us our battles are not of flesh and blood but against powers and spirits of wickedness, so I will engage them directly (Ephesians 6:12).
I believe illness is not from God, it is from the devil. He is stealing life and prosperity from me. As a believer, I hereby rebuke the spirits of Corona Virus, Fear, and Panic who have invaded my body and my community. I command them to leave;I cast them all out NOW! in the name of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:14-18).
With the authority as a member of the body of Christ I release the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead into this body and into this community. I speak healing; From the top of my head, to the soles of my feet; In Jesus name! Just as your blood washed away my sinful nature, your broken body takes away the damage and distress in my body; I command healing and life to flow into Every muscle, Every bone, Every organ, Every tissue, Every fiber, and Every cell. In Jesus Name! I command this mind and body to be restored to perfect function, so I can serve you, bear fruit, and glorify you, in Jesus Name!
I speak healing and health into this community. Every person in every family, in every house hold and every faculty. I command this virus to leave us and not return. I command love and truth to flow uninterrupted into this community. Help everyone see Your love flowing into those in need. Give us wisdom to know how best to protect the vulnerable. Give us strength to support those already impacted and diligence to protect those who are not. Give us calm and comfort knowing the Lord is with us, guiding us, and protecting us.
Lord Jesus, you made many promises to those of us who love you and follow your ways; I claim several of them here and now:
- I will have blessings rather than curses (Deut 30:15-20).
- When I resist the devil, he will flee from me (James 4:7).
- No weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
- No evil shall befall me, and No plague shall come near my dwelling (Psalm 91:9-12).
- By your blood I am saved, and by your stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24)
Lord, you told us: Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened (Matthew 7:11). I ask you now to help me to love you with all my heart, and to love my neighbors as myself (Mark 12:30-31). Please give me eyes to see and ears to hear your precious words (Matthew 13:15). Help me understand them and hold them deep in my heart, for they are life and healing to my flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Fill me with your holy spirit to help me, and give me strength knowing you are with me (Ephesians 3:16). Guide my steps and help me find the path you have for me today and always (Psalm 119:133). Help me to glorify you with my life, and to be a beacon for others to see the holy kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Thank you, Lord, for all you have done and are doing for me, my family, and my community. I ask all of this in Jesus Holy name. AMEN
