Who is He
- He is a biblical archeologist, photo journalist, writer, teacher, and tour guide based in Amman Jordan.
- He serves as Research Professor of Biblical Archaeology at Shepherds Theological Seminary.
- Joel grew up in Saudi Arabia when his dad worked for an oil company there.
- He attended the University of Arizona, earning a BA in Communications in 1991.
- He graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Holy Land (UHL) under Dr. Shimon Gibson, with an MA in Archaeology.
- For over a decade, he participated in numerous dig projects and gained invaluable field experience — serving in every position at an excavation from lowly digger to supervisory dig staff.
